editing process in editing suite

My group and I have uploaded video shooting footage to the editing system. We have been playing around with the edits and special effects and the editor of our group has made decisions in where to place the edits in creating meaning to the audience/consumers. The editing process has been interesting as it has been hard work. The editor Abdullah, has been responsible for using effective edits and sfx in making the video have quick cuts which passes away time. As the director, I have now felt more comfortable in using the mac for editing and syncing. I have learnt a lot from being in the editing suite and seeing the special effects and being able to put a collection of images together. I have also given a hand with editing and special effects for the music video.
